RAC: Customer since 1987, but still being fleeced

We have been a customer of the RAC breakdown service since 1987.

That is 36 years!

And at every renewal with the RAC we had to call their customer service number and try and get the cost down. We never claim, so there is no reason for us to pay a premium. And it was expensive each year!

So this year we ended that 36 year relationship. We have had enough of the haggling with the RAC. 

We are now with the Automobile Association (AA), and how easy it was. Online subscription in less than 5 minutes, and about £78 for the year. This is probably half the cost of the RAC cover that we were quoted each year.

And we are (should be!) the perfect customer.

Onwards with the AA.
