McDonalds: Cold food!

The branch of McDonalds in the Bedford retail park (UK) served me a cold (and yes it was cold, not luke warm) 'Big Tasty' last week.
To say that it was not tasty is an understatement. It was positively nasty.
Whether the relish is bad when cold or just that the whole thing tastes bad I don't know, I was trying something different.
To be clear, we collected our food at the drive through and parked up immediately to eat it, so it most certainly should have been hot or at least warm.
And I had the privilege of paying about £6 ($8) for the privilege!
I enjoy McDonalds, but of course this has really put me off.

I have had cold food from McDonalds, using the drive through. There is no excuse for this. How hard is it to keep food hot.

Today we spent £12 (GBP) on two large fries, a McSpicy and a Quarter Pounder with Cheese. The fries were almost cold, and so were the mains. For £12 you could feed many people, so McDonalds is always a treat, and should never be cold! McDonalds is not cheap, and certainly not worth it when the food is cold! Why does this happen?

McDonalds make a huge profit by providing a mediocre service. It's not hard to get it right McDonalds. Tell your franchises to serve hot food!

My food is never hot from McDonalds. And it's not cheap.
