Dell: Where's my laptop?

So Dell make great computers, from enterprise servers to home PC's, to monitors and everything IT. That's all great, which is why I chose DELL for my new laptop. Their order tracking on the other hand is awful. From My Account on their website, I am directed to a Purchasing Details page which says that the order is shipped. Really? This is what their website told me nine days ago after I placed the order. There is a link on the Purchasing Details page which says 'Package 1 SYNE' and encourages you to click it for more information. It takes you nowhere (in fact worse than that, it fails with an error). So, I have no way of knowing when the laptop will arrive. I know times are tough for businesses at the moment with COVID, but I can still go to many key online providers of technology and get a similar item within a couple of days. Not only that, I'll be kept informed on delivery dates and times. Come on Dell, you can and should do better than this!
